Productivity Tip
Don't forget that you can now run reports from pretty much anywhere where you have a member list. So the F3 Search Screen, the Query Builder View and so on. In each case you can report on a single selected member, or all of the members in the list. You can then further refine your report by excluding or including members.

Report Overview - read this first
1. | I think there has always been a bit of confusion surrounding what reports actually are. |
2. | An E-Broker report is not something you can build yourself - they are of a fixed format and can be quite tricky to build, even for us. |
3. | So in a nutshell, an E-Broker report is a fixed format view, of results from a question you ask of the database. |
4. | You can run a report against a single member, a family, or the entire database, depending on the question you ask. |
5. | Reports such as Member Details and Policy Reports are examples of something you might run for a single member. |
6. | Member List, Member Addresses and Birthday reports are something you might run against multiple members, driven by a query. |
7. | You can also run a report against various aspects of the Practice - outstanding business, policies issued in a period etc... |

Run Report from F3 Search
1. | When you have the list of people you want to report on (by searching in the F3 screen or using more filters) right click |
2. | The report options now appear in the menu. |
3. | Select either Report on Selected or Report on All. |
4. | Here we have selected Report on All. |

6. | Select the report you want to run the Members against. |

7. | The Report Criteria Window opens and you can further refine the list by removing people or adding other people. |

Run Report from Query Builder View
1. | Select the Query Builder View, as opposed to the Query Builder area. Tip - the top right button in the Query Builder window toggles between the Query Builder (edit mode) and the Query Builder view (results mode). |

2. | Again Right, click and choose your preferred report option. |
4. | Select the report you want to run the Members against. |
5. | The Report Criteria Window opens and you can further refine the list by removing people or adding other people. |

Report Criteria
1. | Even when you have selected your base list of Members to report on, after selecting your chosen report, you can further refine your final list in the Report Criteria screen. |
2. | Add or remove members using the buttons, or |
3. | Simply un-tick the ones you wish to exclude. |
4. | Clicking on Add Member take you to a simplified F3 Search Screen for you to locate the member to add. |
