Productivity Tip

Not much to fiddle with at the Quote Calculator level other than turning on and off the various Carriers. You may say that "I don't have an agency with such and such, so I'll turn them off". Personally I don't think that is very smart (if you are a tied Agent it may be a different story) if you are an Independent broker. I well remember a case early on in my career when I had just become and independent, done the work for a prospect, presented the report but hadn't quoted AMP. The chap looked at the various quotes, noted that I hadn't quoted AMP remembered that his cousin had just started with them as an agent and Vooom! the deal was gone. Best plan is to quote everybody and accentuate the positives of your chosen carrier.
