Why log renewal commission? Don't you want to know what a client is worth to you? We made a business decision many many years ago that all of our Medical business would be written separately from our Risk business and would be written on renewal commission only. Generally we were writing risk at the same time, so were well remunerated for the job and accordingly could afford to take a long term view on the medical. This has certainly been proven to be a good decision, as has logging every cent of income that comes into the Practice.
