There are a number of different ways to retrieve individuals or groups of people from the database.
Here we will show you the basic search that you will use probably 80% of the time.
Basic Member Search
1. | The opening view of the Search Screen is of all Clients and Companies - so no filtering at all. |

2. | Simply by starting to type either part of the Surname or First Name starts the search process. |
3. | Here we have started searching for 'rich...' |
4. | As you can see the system has returned all of the Richards (first name) as well as where the surname contains 'rich' |

5. | Changing the search to 'pyk...' returns the list below. |
6. | To select an entry, either double click the line, or if you are more of a keyboard person, press the TAB key which jumps the cursor to the returned entries, then you can use your up and down arrows and click Enter when on the desired line. |
