Productivity Tip
Mortgages follow largely the same underwriting path as a Risk application, but there can be instances where you just want to load and track a settled mortgage, and other cases where you want to track the whole process from Pre-Approval through to Settlement. Policy (Mortgage) Numbers don't really exist with many of the bank products, so it's important to be able to name the mortgage - much in the same way that you brand a risk application.

Access the Mortgage functionality
1. | You can access the Mortgage Module from both the Business Screen and also from Member Details. |
2. | Here we are right-clicking in the Business Screen |

3. | The other option is to click on the Mortgage button in the options list to the left in the Member Details screen |

4. | You will now arrive at the main mortgage screen. |
5. | This is currently blank as we don't have a mortgage loaded yet for this client. |

|
Enter a new Mortgage
1. | If there are no mortgages loaded, or this is a brand new mortgage, simply type the name of the mortgage into the Mortgage Name box and then press enter. |
2. | Think of something which is descriptive for the client, much in the same way that you may have been using the policy Brand. |
3. | Once you have a mortgage name in the line and have pressed Enter to save, you can then select this line and go to any of the Pre-Approval, Applications or Settled screens. |
