Productivity Tip
Providing you have a matching email address in E-Broker, E-Broker can synch and Journal incoming emails directly from your inbox, into the client file. Clearly it isn't telepathic, so can't synch in emails form a third party about a client (use Other Communication for this) and it can't synch emails if you have split them off into various sub folders. You can use a specific folder for the synch (other than Inbox) providing you tell it where to look.

Synch Emails from Inbox
1. | The default target is Inbox. |
2. | Make sure you have the correct mailbox name and have ticked Emails and Enable/Disable etc... |
3. | If it is your first synch, you may need to set back the Synch date to pick up earlier stuff. |
5. | You can check the error log for emails which did not match. |

Synch Emails from another folder
1. | The default target is Inbox - you can change this to another folder if you wish |
2. | Make sure you have the correct mailbox name and have ticked Emails and Enable/Disable etc... |
3. | If it is your first synch, you may need to set back the Synch date to pick up earlier stuff. |
5. | You can check the error log for emails which did not match. |
|
Check the Email Synch Error Log
1. | Once you email synch is finished, you can check for any emails which did not synch through |
2. | Occasionally some emails will just refuse to synch through - this is generally because the sender has some sort of weird display name and E-Broker can resolve this to the actual email address. |
3. | In terms of correcting things - sort the client's email address in E-Broker and then set the synch date and time back to prior to the email received date and re-run the synch. |
4. | The system will not duplicate emails already synchronised. |
