Productivity Tip

None of the Outlook Synch functionality will work, unless E-Broker knows where to look. If you have 95 different mailboxes in Outlook, you are going to strike trouble.

 

Outlook Synch Setup

1.Click on Admin and then Outlook Synch.
2.Check the Mailbox Name at the top of the screen and then check the Mailbox Name at the top of your Outlook folder list.
3.The two should match.
4.If you are not using Microsoft Exchange Server for your mail, the default for both Outlook and E-Broker is Personal Folders.
5.If they don't match, then you need to copy the Mailbox Name from Outlook to Admin / Security / Users / Outlook Mailbox.
6.You may need to see your system administrator if you can see these options.
7.If you are using Office 2007, you may find that Inbound Email Synch does not work unless you also have E-Broker Members synchronised with Outlook Contacts. As far as we are aware, this is not an issue with Office 2003 and Office 2010.
